Surveillance with thermal cameras

thermal imaging cameras from FLIR are used in the newest video monitoring systems. Perimeters are monitored efficiently and extensively regardsless of any weather conditions. A thermal imaging cameras adds great value to an existing system and makes outdoor sensors particularly stable, efficient and customer friendly.

Applications:

prisons

private real estate

premises

thermography cameras

Video thermal technology

thermal imaging technologies has many advantages:

thermal imaging cameras facilitate secure and reliable detection. Compared to video cameras, extreme weather conditions, light reflection on car headlights do not impair or disrupt the performance of a thermal imaging camera.
Each object or material has a differnt heat emission. If some one, a car or an object moves in the camera's field of view, the thermal image changes very slowly. only the change in heat in the background is detected. The varying solar radiation causes the thermal image to change throughout the day. A surface that is newly illuminated by the sun does, however, require a certain amount of time to heat up. this continual, slow change makes the thermal image very stable. This creates an extremely reliable outdoor alarm system. An undesired person located within the perimeter is immediately detected.
